Colin started his journey as a trainee Chartered Accountant in 1982 with a firm in Cannock. Soon after qualifying in 1987 his boss retired and with two partners, he took over the firm and continued there until 2010. Over the period, the company grew substantially, and gained valuable experience in audits, large accountancy assignments and complex tax issues.
In 2012 Colin took over the business Princep Pardoe, changing its name to Dalton Pardoe. Since then, the firm has quadrupled in size with good staff, computerisation and the best accounting software helping to ensure that the firm continues to give a first-class service at a reasonable cost.
Colin continues to enjoy looking after a wide variety of small family run businesses, helping them to grow and deal with the day to day issues all businesses face.
His previous roles in audit and dealing with large companies has proved invaluable in dealing with Colin’s current client portfolio which includes a number of Charities.
Colin has great satisfaction in seeing the company evolve over the past 14 years including the training and development of staff within the company.
